Mino Longo
A native of Latiano (Br) but now living in Milan, Mino Longo has worked extensively as a set designer for television broadcasts, commercials, music videos and short movies. He has recently created sets for exhibitions and fashion shows.
Always passionate about Native American culture, between 1992 and 1997 he was hosted on several occasions in the Indian reservations of Pine Ridge and Rosebaud, in South Dakota. The human and spiritual intensity of these experiences, in close contact with the secrets of the culture and crafts of the American Indians, will soon reverberate on his works. When he begins to explore the artistic applications of resin, a material to which he has remained faithful over the years, acquiring a real primacy in the sector, the experience of the Dakota re-emerges forcefully both in the decorative repertoires and in the technique, based on the processing of the material with fire and water.
The “discovery” of the resin dates back to 1996, the year that marks the start of a fruitful collaboration, still solid and ongoing, with the Gobbetto company, marked over the years by prestigious exhibitions at the Salone del Mobile, the Architecture Fair and at the Royal Palace of Milan. A few years later the collaboration with the Berti company began for the innovative creation of inlaid floors with wood and resins.
The mastery in the artistic processing of resin has led the artist to work for international partners of great prestige, creating, among others, furniture and / or artistic flooring for the Replay Jeans showrooms (Milan, Florence, Bari, Rome, Paris, Cologne, Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Hong Kong), Vogue International (Dubai, Ismailia), Andromeda Lamps (Murano) and High Tech and Cargo (Milan).
In 2007 and 2008 Mino Longo collaborated with the international short film festival Salento Finibus Terrae with installations and personal exhibitions.

Mino Longo
Nativo di Latiano (Br) ma ormai da tempo milanese d’adozione, Mino Longo ha lavorato a lungo come scenografo per trasmissioni televisive, spot pubblicitari, video musicali e cortometraggi. Ha realizzato di recente scenografie per mostre e per sfilate di moda.
Da sempre appassionato della cultura dei Nativi d’America, tra il 1992 e il 1997 viene ospitato a più riprese nelle riserve indiane di Pine Ridge e Rosebaud, nel South Dakota. L’intensità umana e spirituale di queste esperienze, a stretto contatto con i segreti della cultura e dell’artigianato degli Indiani d’America, non tarderà a riverberarsi sulla sua ricerca. Quando comincia a esplorare le applicazioni artistiche della resina, materiale a cui è rimasto fedele negli anni acquisendo un vero e proprio primato nel settore, l’esperienza del Dakota riaffiora prepotentemente sia nei repertori decorativi sia nella tecnica, basata sulla lavorazione del materiale con fuoco e acqua.
La “scoperta” della resina risale al 1996, anno che segna l’avvio di una proficua collaborazione, tuttora solida e in corso, con l’azienda Gobbetto, scandita negli anni da prestigiose esposizioni al Salone del Mobile, alla Fiera dell’Architettura e al Palazzo Reale di Milano. Qualche anno più tardi ha inizio anche la collaborazione con l’azienda Berti per l’innovativa realizzazione di pavimenti a intarsio con legno e resine.
La maestria nella lavorazione artistica della resina ha portato l’artista a lavorare per partner internazionali di grande prestigio, realizzando, tra gli altri, arredi e/o pavimentazioni artistiche per gli showroom di Replay Jeans (Milano, Firenze, Bari, Roma, Parigi, Colonia, Amsterdam, Atene, Barcellona, Hong Kong), di Vogue International (Dubay, Ismailia), di Andromeda Lampade (Murano) e di High Tech e Cargo (Milano).
Nel 2007 e nel 2008 Mino Longo ha collaborato con il festival internazionale di cortometraggio Salento Finibus Terrae con installazioni e mostre personali.

Antico Trentino has also made environmental protection an objective to be pursued with commitment. The process of reclaiming antique woods allows to breathe new life into materials otherwise destined for pulping, to bring to light a hidden beauty that would be lost.
Antique wood has a timeless charm that we think should be safeguarded. Just as that Nature from which these extraordinary raw materials derive and which, given their being a gift, require a profound respect on our part must be safeguarded.

LEBRIC coltiva i valori di un tempo: una selezione attenta di legni recuperati, una cura minuziosa della lavorazione, un occhio di riguardo all’autenticità.
Ma la salvaguardia di tradizioni e valori non basta a descrivere il nostro lavoro, un lavoro fatto di continua ricerca, di nuovi materiali e soluzioni progettuali in grado proiettare l’antica bellezza dei legni in un futuro dalle solide radici.
Le nostre soluzioni d\’arredo fondono innovazione e tradizione, creando un gioco di rimandi temporali capaci di valorizzare al tempo stesso il fascino dei legni di recupero e la modernità ricercata di materie prime dall’alto contenuto tecnologico. Questa è per noi l’essenza di ciò che viene definito “artigianalità”: un lavoro quotidiano basato su una profonda competenza, su capacità maturate in lunghi anni di apprendistato e perfezionamento, ma al tempo stesso un lavoro in continuo divenire, fatto di ricerca e innovazione.
Antico Trentino ha inoltre fatto della tutela ambientale un obiettivo da perseguire con impegno. Il recupero di legni antichi permette di infondere nuova vita a materiali altrimenti destinati al macero, di riportare alla luce una bellezza nascosta che andrebbe perduta.
Il legno antico ha un fascino intramontabile che pensiamo debba essere salvaguardato. Così come deve essere salvaguardia quella Natura da cui queste straordinarie materiale prime derivano e che, dato il loro essere dono, esigono da parte nostra un profondo rispetto.
